nothing special...on the average....in my country combat jumps are done at 150 meters, not that high it's a waste of time where you are vulnerable. and it is even possible to jump much lower, up to 90 meters in an emergency...and it would be possible to jump even lower with premiere sails, these are parachutes where the sail comes out before the lines. ...but I admit that I've never seen it, and it's a bit suicidal, especially if you have a duct load, I heard that a French unit has already achieved it, but I cannot confirm it. Question, why should the US use a flying m113 when helicopters already have most things covered, you want firepower? You have the apache, you want transport? During WW2 the U.S. tanks were inferior to their German counterparts (compare M4 Sherman to a Panther or Tiger tank). But they build $hit-ton of them. It seems that nothing was learned from the lessons of WW2. So it's back to rise, rinse and repeat with M2 Bradley this time. And they can't build them in masse anymore...
